Understanding Lab-Grown Diamonds
Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds created through advanced technological processes in a controlled environment. They share the same chemical composition, crystal structure, hardness, and optical properties as mined diamonds. The difference is their origin.
While mined diamonds form deep within the earth over billions of years, lab-grown diamonds are created through carefully controlled scientific processes that recreate the conditions required for diamond growth.
For modern jewelry, technology does not replace the meaning behind a diamond. It expands the possibilities for size, shape, design, and the stories a diamond can express.

CVD & HPHT Technologies
The two primary methods used to create lab-grown diamonds are Chemical Vapor Deposition (CVD) and High Pressure High Temperature (HPHT). Both produce real diamonds with the same fundamental properties as mined diamonds; the difference lies in the growth process.
CVD
A diamond seed is placed in a vacuum chamber filled with carbon-rich gases. Under controlled conditions, carbon atoms gradually deposit onto the seed, growing the diamond layer by layer.
HPHT
A diamond seed is exposed to extreme pressure and temperature, recreating conditions found deep within the earth and allowing carbon atoms to form a diamond crystal structure.
The growth method alone does not determine a diamond's beauty. Cut, color, clarity, carat, and overall light performance all contribute to its quality and appearance.
